the Tar Portraits
This is a serie of artworks that I developed from my "old" stable diffusion 1.5 prompts that gave lead to the series "Photography not Photography", in part, and "the Tar Chronicles", a serie that will be forever in my heart, because it was the time I realized that AI have the potential to do something really different from, well, anything that could be possibly realized in real life, I imagined a plethora of absurde things like land art made of the most improbabile of elements that could be put together, like bitumen, tar, snow, ice, salt, it was a gas and I still enjoy the results. Yeah, I did put the name of some artist, like Alberto Burri and Arnaldo Pomodoro, I was young and reckless, but I knew Arnaldo personally and I swear to you he would have never imagined the things I posted in that serie let alone realized them.
But I digress, as I was saying, this serie started from that prompt(s), purged from the artists and refined to depict some rather intimate subjects, my goal and idea was to represent something that talks to the guts. Thanks to you for the time you took to read this far, enjoy "the Tar portraits".
